What is the plan of salvation? "
Answer: Are you hungry? Not physically hungry, but you have a desire for something more in life? Is there something deep inside, that seems to never be satisfied? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus said, "I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger and he that believeth on me shall never thirst" (John 6:35).
Are you confused? You never can find a path or purpose in life? Does it seem like someone turned off the lights and you can not find the switch? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus proclaimed, "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life" (John 8:12).
Have you ever felt like you closed the door of life? Have you tried to open many doors, only to find that behind them all is empty and meaningless? Are you looking for an entry to a full life? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus said, "I am the door: by me will be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture" (John 10:9).
Do you always disappoint other people? Do your relationships have been shallow and empty? Does it seem like everyone is trying to take advantage of you? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep ... I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep and mine know me" (John 10:11,14).
Ever wonder what happens after life? Are you tired of living your life for things that only corrupt and corrode? Did you ever doubt that life has any meaning? Do you want to live after I die? If so, Jesus is the way! Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he die, shall live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die "(John 11:25-26).
Who is the way 'Who is the truth? Who is life? Jesus replied, "I am the way and the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me" (John 14:6).
The hunger that you feel is a spiritual hunger, and can only be satisfied by Jesus. Jesus is the only one who can dispel the darkness. Jesus is the door to a fulfilling life. Jesus is the friend and shepherd that you have searched. Jesus is the life - in this world and the next. Jesus is the way of salvation!
The reason you feel hungry, the reason seems to be lost in the darkness, the reason I can not find meaning in life is that you are separated from God. The Bible says all have sinned, and therefore are separated from God (Ecclesiastes 7:20, Romans 3:23). The void you feel in your heart is in the absence of God in your life. We were created to have a relationship with God. Because of our sin, we are alienated from that relationship. Even worse, our sin may cause us to be separated from God for all eternity - in this life and the next (Romans 6:23, John 3:36).
How can this problem be solved? Jesus is the way! Jesus, for us, was made sin (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), taking the punishment we deserved. Three days later, Jesus rose again, proving His victory over sin and death (Romans 6:4-5). Why did it? God answered that question, "No one has greater love than this, that he lay down his life for his friends" (John 15:13). Jesus died so that we might live. If we put our faith in Jesus, trusting His death as payment for our sins, then all our sins are forgiven and washed. And so our spiritual hunger will be satisfied. The lights come on. We will have access to a full life. Meet our best friend and good shepherd. We know that life after death - a resurrected life in heaven with Jesus for eternity!
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16).

1. Make sure you understand salvation.
1 John 5:13 says, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life." God wants us to understand salvation. God wants us to have the confidence of knowing for sure that we are saved. Let us briefly the key points of salvation:
(A) All have sinned. We've all done things that displease God (Romans 3:23).
(B) deserve to be punished with eternal separation from God because of our sin (Romans 6:23).
(C) Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins (Romans 5:8, 2 Corinthians 5:21).
(D) God grants forgiveness and salvation to all who put their faith in Jesus - trusting His death as payment for our sins (John 3:16, Romans 5:1, Romans 8:1).
That's the message of salvation! If you put your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are saved! All your sins are forgiven, and God promises to never leave or forsake you (Romans 8:38-39, Matthew 28:20). Remember, your salvation is secure in Jesus Christ (John 10:28-29). If you trust in Jesus alone as your Savior, you can be confident that you will spend eternity with God in heaven!
2. Find a good church that teaches the Bible.
Do not think of church as a building. The church is people. It is very important that believers in Jesus Christ fellowship with one another. That's one of the main purposes of the church. Now that you have put your faith in Jesus Christ, we strongly encourage you to find on your sector, a Bible-believing church. Talk to your pastor. Let him know about your new faith in Jesus Christ.
A second purpose of the church is to teach the Bible. You can learn how to apply God's teachings in his life. Understanding the Bible is the key to living a successful Christian life and powerful. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good play. "
A third purpose of the church is worship. Worship is thanking God for all He has done! God has saved us. God loves us. God is our provider. God guides us and directs us. How can we not thank you? God is holy, just, loving, merciful and gracious. Revelation 4:11 states, "Lord, Thou art worthy to receive glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and by your will they were created."
3. Besides time each day to focus on God.
It is very important for us every day, spend time focusing on God. Some people call this a "time-out." Others call it "quiet time" because this is a time when we devote ourselves to God. Some prefer to set aside time in the mornings, while others prefer the evening. No matter how you call this time or when you do. What matters is that you regularly spend time with God. What events make up our time with God?
(A) Prayer. - Prayer is simply talking to God. Talk to God about your concerns and problems. Ask God to give wisdom and guidance. Ask God to provide for your needs. Tell God how much you love and how much you appreciate all she does for you. That is what prayer is.
(B) Bible Reading. - In addition to receiving Bible teaching in church, Sunday School, and / or Bible studies - need to read the Bible for yourself. The Bible contains everything you need to know to live a successful Christian life. The Bible contains God's guidance to make wise decisions, how to know God's will, how to minister to others, and how to grow spiritually. The Bible is essentially God's instruction manual for how to live our life in a way to please the Lord and be satisfied.
4. Develop relationships with people who can help us spiritually.
1 Corinthians 15:33 tells us, "Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners." The Bible is full of warnings about the influence that the "bad" people can have on us. Spending time with those who engage in sinful activities will cause us to be tempted by those activities. The character of those around us will "stick" in us. For that reason it is so important to surround ourselves with other people who love the Lord and is committed to Him
Try to find a friend or two, maybe your church, someone who can help and encourage him (Hebrews 3:13, 10:24). Ask your friends to keep you accountable regarding your time alone, their activities and their walk with God. Ask if you can do the same for them. This does not mean you have to give up all your friends who do not know Jesus as their Savior. Continue to be their friend and love them. Just let them know that Jesus has changed your life, and can not do all the same things he used to. Ask God to give you opportunities to share Jesus with their friends.
5. Baptized.
Many people misunderstand baptism. The word "baptize" means to immerse in water. Baptism is the Biblical way of publicly proclaiming his new faith in Christ and your commitment to follow. The action of being immersed in water illustrates being buried with Christ. The action out of the water pictures Christ's resurrection. Baptism is identified with death, burial and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4).
Baptism is not what saves you. Baptism does not take away their sins. Baptism is simply a step of obedience, a public proclamation of their faith in Christ alone for salvation. Baptism is important because it is a step of obedience - publicly declaring faith in Christ and their commitment to Him If you are ready to be baptized, must speak with a pastor.
